This was my first time with a running coach after using generalized running plans. Wow, did it make a difference!
First, the personalized training nature of working with Olivia was fantastic. The workouts were tailored to my schedule and pushed me just beyond what I thought I could do. They were also varied and adapted when I was feeling too worn out from travel or life. And Olivia was always available to respond and suggest changes or give me tips.
Second, I really liked having a strength plan to accompany my running and having a schedule that balanced both. It made me feel much stronger and well rounded as a runner. I'd highly recommend doing that for all runners.
And lastly, knowing that Olivia believed I could do the workouts and the race (even when they were tough) made a huge difference. I knew she wouldn't suggest something she didn't think I could do. Having her confidence helped me believe in myself.
Working with Olivia was awesome. She helped me train for and finish my first half marathon. I couldn't have done it without her coaching.
Olivia created a marathon pacing sheet for me that I still use every single time I'm preparing for a race. It's become my go-to resource.
Olivia is such a great person to work with. She's motivating, encouraging, and knows how to push you just enough to really get results.
